Grind # XA244/365-XA258/355-117+5 Maximum Street - Street/Strip - Race Duration at .050: 244/258 117 Lobe Center Angle with a 112 Degree Intake Centerline Lift with 1.7 Rocker Arm Ratio: .621"/.604" Recommended Displacement: 402-418 Cubic Inch Engines Recommended Compression Ratio: 9.0:1-10.5:1 Recommended Headers: 1 7/8" - 2" Recommended Stall Converter: 3800+ RPM Recommended Rear Axle Ratio: 3.55 - 4.10 The CS 240/256 centrifugal supercharger LS camshaft is designed for max-street or race applications in vehicles using 5.7-6.2 liter LS engines equipped with centrifugal style superchargers. The CS 244/258 Supercharger Camshaft will have a "lopey" or "choppy" idle and strong power through upper RPM range with emphasis on extended RPM capability. This camshaft will perform best in a vehicle properly setup for upper RPM performance with modifications including: headers, free flowing performance exhaust, increased stall speed torque converter and optimum final drive ratio. Valve spring and pushrod upgrade are required.
