This camshaft is an excellent choice for enthusiasts who want to push their stock short block to its limits (and most likely past its limits). This camshaft is designed to get maximum performance out of a single plane equipped 5.7 to 6.2 liter stock short block while pushing acceptable valve clearance without fly-cutting the pistons in rectangle port headed engines(SEE PISTON-TO-VALVE CLEARANCE WARNING ABOVE). It is the owner's/engine builder's responsibility to verify sufficient clearance during installation. Also, milling of the heads, installing a thinner head gasket or installing larger diameter valves will reduce your piston to valve clearance.
